Some have reported success by simply hanging the shock cord over the pegs of the spreader bars but others have reported it droops too much and lets too much air in to be effective. I would suggest giving it a try and see how it works out.

I'm in the same boat. I'll see if it fits ok or if it will need some minor mods. Hopefully I won't need to shell out for a full length winter lynx. I have heard the Phoenix works out ok so at least I'm covered down to 40*. Hopefully the 0* Incubator works as well. I'll let ya know.

i have an incubator 20 for my xlc, tried it on my RR and didn't have much luck with the fit....a lot of fiddling at least for me and couldn't get it dialed in on the RR so i ordered a lynx and MAN it is awesome, warm and soooooo easy. Hope you have better luck but if it's in the budget you will love the ease of the lynx. Arrowhead makes a 3/4 synthetic specifically for the RR (ridge creek) for 129.99 rated to @ 25 degrees which I haven't tried but I know Paul makes excellent products (I have his new river long) good luck

I've had no issues ever hanging my zero incubator on my Ridge Runner. I'll loop the shock cord around the pegs of the spreader bar, then b4 I go to sleep I'll pull up any sag and just tie a knot to tighten up the quilt against the Ridge Runner.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

I used my incubator 20* until I could get a Lynx. It'll work fine. Just be sure the fabric of the UQ isn't being stressed anywhere.
