    Just ordered my JRB tarp!

I know I know, not big news to most people here as many have already bought a nice trap. I have built two very good tarps and bought then modified two Guide Gear tarps. But now I am going crazy wanting a new Winter Tarp and I am just tired of building tarps! So, I ordered one from JRB, the 11 x 10 Cat.

My main tarp now is 10 x 10 and is a square, not many pitch options, but it has been a great tarp.

I like the idea of the many pitch options of the JRB tarp, and mostly being able to close it off, which I can't do with any of mine.

I also liked the Winter Dream V 2, but it doesn't come in subdued colors and I just can't have a silver/gray tarp.

This is the first piece of gear I have bought that is specifically hammock related since 2003. And not dealing with sewing around 110 square feet is worth it!

I ordered it today and received shipping confirmation a few hours later, great service guys!

I can't wait to get it and start playing with it.

Congrats! You've put your time in before jumping in and buying...I'm sure you'll love it.

    Thumbs up

You will love the JRB 11x10 tarp it is my fav tarp and it is bomb proof...
i'v had it out in 30 mph gust with no problem...i also tripped over one of the side tie outs and it didn't rip or do any damage to it...and it's very roomy

It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold

Sure like mine. Once I got it, I stopped looking at tarps. In summer I hang it high and wide. Cold weather hang it lower, and crisscross wind-end closed. In really nasty cold weather I use grip clips on the sides to give me a bit more room inside when I know I will be hiding out in hammock more and want the bit of extra space inside. Take them off when not in use.

Yep, this tarp suits my needs just fine.

Much success with your new JRB 11x10 Cat. The multiple deployment options are sweet and so are the subdued colors. I think the Grizz Beak would be a good accessory but its currently not available in a subdued color.

Maybe I just need to learn how to operate a rapid fire needler instead...

You still feel like you need a Grizz Beak? Interesting...not that I'm against one, just didn't think I would need it with a tarp like this one. I guess we will see once I get mine.

Naw, not exactly needed...I like the Grizz Beak since it extends the tarp forming a vestibule. I'm probably just going to use the Grizz Beak on one side for gear storage.
