Hey guys! so I'm not making a hammock or a topquilt but I am combining all the materials it takes to make both (minus the cinch buckles) to make a jacket based on the Green Pepper Oregon Jacket pattern. So I'm curious, anyone out there making more than just hammocks and quilts with fabrics and insulations from any of the multiple ripstop stores we buy from? If anyone is curious, I'm using 3.6oz Apex Climashield, 1.0oz calendered hyperd and 2.2oz hex70 for the insulation, liner and outer, respectively.

Also, if anyone has done anything similar and has tips for working with fabric and insulation, I'd love to hear them!

All materials from Ripstop by the roll!

Joel

ps: hope nobody minds this isn't exactly a hammock
