It's time to ring in 2017 and celebrate another trip around the sun for me. Come on out and help me celebrate my 50th birthday. We will meet up at the McNeil trailhead and hike the approx. 1 mile to Gator Hole camp, where we'll relax for a weekend and have a few laughs. Hope to see you all there!

About time! Finished up down throw TQ booster yesterday, UQ booster today and just took sausage meat out of the dehydrator. I'm ready. Picked up one of the Imusa skillets that Juan had the last hang. Gonna have some sausage gravy over english muffin with an over easy egg on top for Saturday breakfast. Might even bring some beer, no make that ale, in for the weekend. Hopefully we will get another cold snap to cool it off a little. Tried to work on the hammock/UQ this afternoon and it was just too hot.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
Well sir, there will be no dehydration for me. Carrying in a steak and potatoe, some eggs and bacon for breakfast. I'm working on Saturday dinner, but won't be dehydrated either. I'm considering carrying in a cooler too.

I'll be there Friday, just a one night trip for me.
If the weather gets a little cooler I'll probably hike in from the Dade City side.
