There just isn't any way I can make it Thursday...sorry, trying to keep too many balls in the air...look for me some time after noon on Friday.

The three of us from Aggieland will in fact arrive mid-day Saturday and except for a really long drive we are looking forward to it.
Looks like we are in the same world, just different places.
Looking forward to seeing you again Dave as well as meeting other hangers.
BTW, is there Shiner Bock in Arkansas or do I need to import some?
Save us a few trees please.
Now, this may be something I missed in the thread but just to make sure, exactly where are we hanging? Is it the campground at Kyle's Landing? Anyone have GPS coordinates on it?
Arkansas has a bunch of dry counties...buying anything with alcohol in it can be hit or miss. Stock up before you leave The Republic.

I'll be leaving in the morning,,, see you all there...
Is there a Campsite at the Pruitt takeout or is the Ozark campground the closest one
Slight schedule change for me:
I've got to unexpectedly and urgently see a dentist tomorrow (earliest I can get an appointment). So......I will probably be arriving on Thursday evening rather than early afternoon.
I had promised a nice dutch oven dinner to a few folks on Thursday. Sorry, doesn't look that's going to happen now.
I also promised to bring some directional signs. They're all made up and ready and I'll put them up on my way down the road.

The road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with weary feet, Until it joins some larger way, Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.

I don't think there is camping at Pruitt.
there is a campsite at Erbie, The turnoff is about halfway between Pruitt and Jasper on Hwy 7. Should be a sign and you will go through the Henry Koehn Experimental Forest, nice drive down to Erbie. I think Erbie is about 6 miles hike to Kyles on the Buffalo River Trail.
Please don't bring any Lone Star!!! I think I may have "accidentally" dumped some on the Bulffalo last summer, so should be a bunch laying around. You better get your choice of beverage, or any kind of beverage, before you get near to Newton County (where the Buffalo is) I don't know the wet stores on the south or west side , but I know the ones on the N and E sides! I think Arkansas is one of the driest states in our great union, it's a shame a poor county like Newton County is dry, they are losing a lot of revenue from the floaters that are drinking anyway.
Here's a map;

It's actually Hwy 74, should be just to the east of Mount Sherman on the map. I think someone sells firewood just to the west of Kyle's Rd. on 74, it's $5 for a small stack and uses the honor system.
