NJ>Mullica River>1/7

Grabbed a site for Saturday night at Mullica River. Plan on hiking (or snowshoeing, depending on weather)in around noon. Have a few sirloin steaks to bring and who knows what else. Forecast to get into the mid teens, and it will be looking pretty with the snow cover. Anyone is welcome to join in. Maybe a good time to shake down any gear before the winter hang in a few weeks.

oh i'm interested. where ya parking? I know how to get to batona and goshen. never been to mulica. which site?

Parking in Atsion. Its a pretty straightforward hike in from there, just follow the yellow blazes. Its 5.5 miles if I remember correctly. Beaver Pond is the highlight of the hike. I have site 2 reserved, as of right now the rest of the place is empty. Winter Storm Warnings are up right now for 4-7 inches, so i guess you could say im pretty excited.
