It was, back in December. Good flow on the creek and falls, and yesterday it was all still pretty wet from the recent snow, even a few patches of snow and ice left in the shady places.

I guess camp will be in same general area.

If you are in the parking lot, go to right down along creek [opposite of trail to falls] and it opens up into a large camping area with a couple of fire pits.

I don't know anything about the area myself but I think maddog said its only about a 100 yards from the parking lot .

Ah. I never looked down that way.

I doubt I can stay overnight but I might be able to come Friday and hang out for a while.

Wish I could sneak away for the weekend to join you guys! There are a couple of good spots up there. Right at the parking lot there are a number of spots, if you pass the parking lot there is a big pull in a couple hundred feet up on the left and a few other areas along the road and one spot up on dicks creek falls I believe is it called.
