Question DIY Side-Panel Pullouts for Silpoly tarp

Hey everyone. I want to add side panel pullouts to my tarp. What methods have you used/do you like for making DIY panel pulls? I made the tarp myself (Winter12 tarp from ripstopbytheroll | 1.1 Silpoly), but I had nice instructions, unfortunately none for pullouts. Any advice you can give would be appreciated. A picture is attached, it's the best I have for now, but I hope it gives you an idea of my tarp. A better picture will come later.

Dutch sells a removeable pullout I've been eyeballing for the times one would be handy but I just can't convince myself it won't tear a hole in the side...lol
If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.

For my tarp I sewed the Grosgrain to a disc of silpoly and then glued the disc to the tarp with Permatex. I did not sew to the tarp. It has held in all conditions.

I also did not use any D-rings. I didn't see a need for them.

I just did this same method and it worked out perfectly. I used the process below. I initially sewed on the pullouts via Dutch's instructions for his winter tarp, but I didn't like the way it pulled unevenly on the sewn seams so I ripped the whole thing out and glued on the discs. Much more even pull. The only difference was that I didn't cut a hole in the disc for the grosgrain, I just box stitched it right on the outside with the loop facing upward so I can use a pole mod.

This sounds like a great plan, thanks!
