    My first Hammock Camp

This was my first camping trip with a hammock. I had hastily made an under quilt out of an MSS black bag so I would have something at least. I knew nothing about hammock camping before this. It did get down to the high teens low 20,s. I stayed fairly warm. I sure learned a lot on this camp. So I have moved from knowing nothing to knowing very little. Lol. The cold zapped the juice right out of my camcorder battery so sorry for the abrupt ending. I hope and look forward to being able to hang with some people in the future to learn and physically see how some things are done.
    Thanks for checking it out!

Nice job making your insulation work for you. I backpack and hike mostly, never got into the bushcrafting, it's a different mindset with all that heavy canvas and tin. Some interesting equipment. Bet that rabbit turned out really good!

The rabbit was delicious. Had to adjust the height of the spit to get it cooked properly. Thanks everyone for watching. I know the fire starting was long but wanted to show it being proved and not cut leaving people wondering if I really did it or not.
    Thanks again.

Great video! Refreshing to see an alternative to Ultra light gear in use. I am too old to hump 40 pounds around these days but I do have some canvas gear I like to take out on short day hikes.
