Oh, it worked, I just felt a little cool on my buttooski. Not cold at all. Might have been the hang angle (Hangle?). It was not windy at all.

I can't tell from the pic, but it might help to snug up the UQ just a touch more. It's not uncommon for folks new to hanging to not get it pulled up enough. Be sure it's snug enough it actually raises your hammock slightly when empty.
Looks like a good hang. Hope you get the cold spots worked out.

I understand the Wooki fits like the Ridge Runner under quilt - nothing to adjust and a differential cut so the loft isn't compressed. For the usual UQ's, I found it difficult with one person to "get it right" because I couldn't be in the hammock and check out the end closures at the same time. Then I read, and noticed myself, that when I turn diagonal, the ends of the UQ actually want to be looser rather than snugged up. It allows them to "bond" with the bottom of the hammock better. Snugging it tight, then pushing sideways with a diagonal lie, can create a gap. So now I have my UQ's snug to the hammock bottom but not so much cinched up at the ends. But I do cheat - I use a sock or UQP, so that adjustment isn't so critical. It does make a difference I can feel - just not at much as if I only used the hammock and UQ alone.
