i just signed up, so there will definitely be someone to follow everyone else in, I am so slow. I have my sherpa set up with new tires and tubes, new paint job(not pretty, but no rust), and if the rain breaks I will get it rigged up for hauling. This is total new ground for me, new hang site, and hauling my junk in. I eagerly anticipate seeing everyone.

Great to hear you're trying something new. Hopefully I'll see you there.

For those that still don't know what a Sherpa Hang is, it's us hiking into the woods with everything using a Florida Sherpa.

Trying to get 2 friends to join us. I haven't heard back from one and the other just said he will probably go. This is my friend from work, Gravy, that yall may have met at Hidden Pond.

The other one I haven't heard from lately and will try to find out later.

Cool that you may show up for this hang, Lilricky. Hope we can both make it.

This thing is growing like a weed. With old timers and new timers, you better come early to get a tree!
I'll be there Friday and Saturday nights. I'm thinking I'll bring a few coffee cakes to go with the coffee!! There's always way too much "entree" type food at our meetups.
I'm looking forward to seeing you'all.

Only about a dozen or so so far Grinder but there are a number of the core group that haven't responded yet. It will be fun.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.

My trip is feeling better, old dog gave me some great directions. Lake Wales Ridge goes a good piece from north to south, why I could have wound up in Key West while trying to get there. I don't know if I can stack a lode like you more experienced folks, but I will give it a try. The weather predictions I can find show mild to very warm temps, I will try to dress more appropriately than I have done in the past.
Which trail head to most prefer, the blue or green or yellow? Shortest route?
