FL>FEB 17-19>6th Annual Sherpa hang

It's that time again for the Sherpa hang at Creekside in the Lake Wales Ridge State Forest. At the last hang some of us were on we went under the assumption that everyone planned for their own meals. This seemed to work for most and no one starved. Those that wanted to share a meal were able to do so but were under no obligation to do so. I will be providing Grits for Sat. & Sun. mornings. The only coordination will be that we not have 4 & 5 pots of food for a meal. Others may want to take on the task of coordinating a Mountain Man or similar stew. Feel free to do so. In the past the meal planning was somewhat disorganized and resulted in more food being supplied than necessary. Hopefully it will not be as wet as last year. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Creekside again.

I'll be there Friday thru Sunday, I'll help coordinate the meals, im working on a Google sheet to keep track of people, meals, ingredients and any equipment needed, similar to the one used at the hangcon but a lot simpler. Im also bringin some of the ingredients for the mountanman's except sausage and eggs.

To All, Please add your name to the google sheet below and add if you are bring anything. That way we know what we have and what we need without needing to read the entire tread and figuring out.

I sure do hope to be able to make this hang. It's one of my favorites. Every year I look for a way to make a Sherpa but haven't been able to yet. I guess I will keep lugging it all in.

I think Trex and I will be able to make it. We will be down Saturday morning at some point. Though we may stay till Monday since President's Day is a day off for us.

Hello Old dog, how are you doing? we miss you at Hang Con. I am hoping to make this hang. If I can it will be Friday Evening Or early Saturday morning. I'll be staying till Sunday night.

I'll be showing up by noon Friday out on Sunday. Can someone tell me where the nearest Publix or Winn-Dixie is if I'm coming in East Bound on SR 60? I know Sebring has both on US 27, not sure about Avon Park or Frostproof.
