I have a few of my own, but I am seeking any and all.
So, I have found myself more than once, in a situation where during rain and storms, the ground under my hammock gets soaked. Often with water running like a stream. (runoff).
This has happened twice in the last 3 years while in the Boundary Waters. If you are familiar with the typical campsites in the Boundary Waters, then you should understand what I am dealing with.
During these rainy times, I often like to hang out under the tarp, but not in the hammock. So I am looking for a ground tarp idea, that would be similar to a typical tent floor (bathtub design). In fact, if I can find a small old tent cheap, maybe something about 7' x 5' ish, I would probably just cut the floor out of it, and use it.
Does anyone have any other ideas?
