    Adjustable Structural Ridge Line

Introducing the Adjustable Structural Ridegline. Spliced in a Whoopie Sling configuration, it gives an adjustment range of 89 inches to 119 inches.

The ends need to be looped into your hammock suspension, as pictured on my WB Traveler..

    Fixed eye on one end....

    Adjustable on the other...

I can make them in the following colors...

    All at a whooping....

I can also maked any length fixed ridgeline with spliced loops in either end, if you already know your ideal length.

I can also make them from the 7/64 line in any of the colors I have.

I have some of the 2.2mm Zing It on the way in Yellow, and may have a line on some other Zing It colors.

Cost of the adjustable RL? oops, see it on your website!

think I might try this with the dynaglide

    Opie

Could you also do this adjustable structural ridge line as UCR like you do with your tarp guy out lines?

    Cheers

Probably. The tail would still need to be backed up with a prusik, just like the suspension UCR. If I did this, I would use the 2.2mm line as the main line instead of the 1.75. That way I would be more comfortable using the 1.75mm as the prusik knot, rather than expecting the 1.75 to hold on the 1.75. Make sense?

The Whoopie configuration, IMO, is much simpler in the RL application.

Thanks on the stand... I built that the day after Christmas. Spent the following 2 nights in it, right there in the living room.

The Dynaglide Should work just fine.

Just ordered my hammock ridge line. Haven't been using one with my UL Traveler, but I hear it will help to get the perfect hang one you get it dialed in.

    Thank Opie

This is a good idea. I've been using one with Dynaglide; Zing-it would be good, too. Amsteel might be overkill. Get adjustable; you won't know your ideal ridgeline length until you have one that you can adjust easily.
