What do you use to whip your hammocks?

I'm getting ready to do my first DIY hammock and haven't found too much info on what kind of cordage to use at the whipped ends? I have a hank of 2.2mm Zing It that I think would work nicely. Maybe some paracord?

Or am I overthinking this one? That's very possible...

    thanks all!

Any cord will work. The whipping does not bear the load, just gathers the fabric the way you would like. The 2.2 Zing will work, being slick it will probably need a little something something to hold well. A double constrictor knot would be a good choice with it.

I use gutted out paracord. It is easier to use for whipping that way; and, if using knots, it will hold a knot better if gutted out.

Zip tie. Trimmed off nicely after cinching it up.

+1 on the Zip-tie. Even the hennessy uses them to kind of whip the ends (actually it just holds the cover in place). They've worked fine on my two tablecloth hammocks.

I used a zip tie and some 1.8 mm reflect it, from Dutch. I think I'm gonna take some wraps out though.
