The only days I cant hang are Tuesdays and feb 14-19. Any backcountry spot with a 4 or less mile hike. I usually go to Abrams Creek campground trail head. I am open to new places.
I am available most weekends. There are only a couple of weekends that I'm not available April 7th - 9th and June 5th - 7th. I am available any other weekends. I can also ask off a weekday if I have enough notice.
As for places to hang, Frozen Head is always hammock friendly and there are plenty of options there for good campsites.

I definitely want a get-together in the summer when it's warm.
I'm game for most Sat-Sun hikes. With 2 weeks notice I can add Mon-Tues for 4 days in a row. The dates on the poll are Sun-Sat which won't make sense for most people. Might want to tweak that to more specific periods

Frozen Head seems to be close to a lot of us. Judge Branch is about a half mile or so in give or take the scenic trail. Lots of good trees, creek access for water, free, clean, etc.
I haven't tried Abrahm's trail but often camped Abrahm's creek/Panther creek off of 129 (boat required)

If anybody is interested, there is a 30-mile section of the Cumberland Trail that extends from Cove Lake to Frozen Head. I'd be interested in hitting that this summer, and maybe having a get-together at Frozen Head afterward to include those who didn't want to participate in the hike.
I've been wanting to do that as well. It's actually closer to 40 miles and then about another 5-8 miles to civilization within Frozen Head boundaries. I've done the first part of that to the designated campsite at Montgomery Fork. It's a tough climb up but it is well worth it. It's beautiful in fall.
