Hello from Oahu, Hawaii

Hi, Joe here. I currently live on the island of Oahu, where I work for a DOD agency. I consider myself fortunate that in the course of my job, I base camp in some of the most austere environments all over the world. I currently hang in a hammock for 45-60 days at a time, 4-5 times a year, so a minimum of 5 months up to 10 months out of the year. I get to use lots of gear in the course of my work. I came here after discovering the forums while doing some research, as I plan on upgrading my current work hammock.
I currently own Hennessy Expedition Asym zip, an ENO Junglenest, and a few other misc hammocks. I am researching and considering upgrading to either a Dream Hammocks Dangerbird, a Clark TX270, a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC (which I have been testing out for a few weeks now), or a Hennessy Jungle Explorer zip. I have also been eyeballing the Dutchwear Chameleon.

Welcome from Northern Arkansas! Of all the hammocks you mentioned, I didn't see a bad choice. I started out with ENO doublesnests, but I lay in a Dream Hammock Raven and a WB Traveller xl, and I love them both. Have a new Sparrow coming for the wife, so I'm sure I'll like it as well! Welcome! I was just in Oahu for 2 weeks this past October, as a friend of mine is living there for a year with her husband and kids. He's in the military. Beautiful place!
