    Mesh peak bag

Made a peak bag with left over bug netting that I'm not sure I'll ever use, but it was fun to make.
It will fit my fleece jacket without issue which helps get it out of the way.

That looks great. Do you have trouble with your machine wanting to eat the bug net? If so how did you mitigate the problem?

For netting, give yourself a wide seam allowance, then trim after. French seems!!!

I don’t sew on commission, so please don’t ask. Thanks.

This was a pretty lazy build on my part. I didn't do rolled hems as mesh doesn't seem to unravel and I didn't really measure anything. I just made a triangle out of my leftover fabric and cut it. I double rolled the large end to make a channel for the draw string and ran about a quarter inch seam up the one side that needed stitching. I then turned the whole thing inside out, through a little leftover grosgrain at the point for a connecting loop and called it good. No problems with the material in the feed dogs.

Great job. Looks awesome. I'm making something I can put my shoes in overnight in warmer months. I don't like leaving my shoes on the ground where critters can find their way into them. Thanks for sharing.

Now there's an idea. A shoe sack from bug net to hang from the suspension, but I guess once in a net you could leave em under the hammock and not worry about critters getting in em. Another use for some leftover bug netting. Win. Thanks nj4x4.
