If you need to stake it out then yes it would be difficult. You might be able to guy the RL from picnic table to pack pole but the stake out points will be more difficult.

Brush up on your rock anchor technique. You should be able to use stakes at Bright Angel campground and Indian Garden, but Cottonwood is more challenging.
