germany is a great place to be. I was there on a "government paid vacation" in '71. Bad Kreuznach. Loved hiking and stealth camping along the Rhine up from Bingen. Wish I could do some of that again. Miss the Nahe' Wein, Schnitzel and Konigsbacher Bier. Welcome to the forum. Now we gotta get you "Hung" properly in a tree!

We left Bitburg in '74. So you and I were thereabouts at the same time. I was pretty young at the time though. (Definitely not old enough to drink the Pils.)

Europe is a great place. I live in the Czech Republic during the summer, and go to Germany often. I went to the World Cup Final in 2006 in Berlin for soccer **football**.If you don't remember, it's the game where Zidane did the headbutt. Lots of trees to hang from, unlike Arizona
