be sure to check out the do-it yourself forum- a lot of the equipment and gear we use is homemade or produced by small business, not by the major gear suppliers; as there is not a significant percentage of campers clamoring for these type of things yet. But we will build it; and they will come.

Welcome, Dirk! We usually avoid the more public places, and hang a little further into the woods.

The only German I know is, "Bitte, einz dunkel beer!"

I've been to Berlin a few times, but that was many years ago. I did some engineering work at Teufelsberg in a former life. Great city!

Auch studierte ich neun Monate (Untersekunde, 1963-64) beim Gymnasium Haus Overbach.

Hey Frawg i was Yesterday with my Son on the Teufelsberg
(building rubble Hill from the last War). Its snowing here in Berlin Heavy and so we can sledging on the Hill.

Willkommen zu HF!

I lived in Germany on Air Force bases (Munich, Bitburg, Erding) when I was a kid. I'd love to take my kids back over there to show them the beautiful scenery, and the Alps. I'd love to see pictures of your hammock trips over there.
