Hi everyone! I got started into this hammock addiction last year when I bought a couple cheap hammocks at Costco for my girlfriend and myself. I've been a tent camper for years and I'm working on building out a system to hammock camp with. I did some impulse shopping on black friday and picked up some Eno Onelink kits from REI for about $100 each (before I found out that there were better options than Eno out there). Here's what I've got so far in my setup:
    • Bear Butt Double Hammock w/ DIY ridgeline made from an ATV winch rope (probably overkill but I had it laying around)
    • Eno Atlas Straps (with lightweight climbing biners)
    • Eno Profly w/ Dutchware continuous ridgeline
    • Eno Guardian bug net
    • Nemo Cosmo Air Insulated Pad
    • Enlightened Equipment Revelation Quilt

I mostly canoe camp so the weight of everything isn't that big of a deal, but I'm getting into backpacking so I'll be trimming down the kit soon.

Welcome from northern Arkansas! I started with ENO myself as well. It's decent, but I move away from it quickly. Still use the atlas straps some and just now upgraded from my ENO profly's. You'll love your EE revelation! Happy hanging!

Welcome from a displaced Ky boy. Sounds like you at least have a good start at gear gathering. Let us know if you have any questions and you should check out that group hang that's coming up just down 65S .

I saw something about a group hang in Jefferson Memorial Forest. If that's what you're talking about it's only about 15 min from where I live.

Yes, that's the one. These gatherings are a great way to meet others that enjoy the same hobby as you do.
