Thanks, Scott! I'm just foolin' with ya! I've been in the same boat lately.

See it's all about clashing... my digital camo DIY hammock and sock just won't go with my Woodland Camo Guide Gear 9X9 tarp.

Hmmm... wait a sec! What do I need a tarp for anyway? I believe the sock is steep-roofed enough to shed snow.

I am very interested in getting my hands on some uncalendared nylon. I've had an idea floating around in my head for a while now, but unable to chase down a source. If the next roll is not calendared or coated, I would certainly be down for a few yards. Gotta figure out exactly how much I'll need, but at least 8 yards.
I'll post on here what comes. I'm well into the 3rd roll already. Seems folks have some use for cheap 1.1oz.

Side Note: Cannibal - it's really good to see your posts all over the place again. A while back I was getting worried - didn't see much of anything for a little while. I was writing up a PM to check in on you and then BAM! You're all over here again. Glad to see your smiling, people eating face more often.

BTW... how do you get a trail name like Cannibal. Or should that not be posted in such a family friendly forum... [Sorry, so off topic in my own thread]

    Your thread, your rules.
My family lineage runs a fairly straight line back to the Donner Party on my father's side. Seemed like a pretty appropriate TrailName to pay a little homage to those who walked when there were no trails; braver folks than I.

It's very good to be back. I wasn't expecting to see even more tarps available when I got back, but have happily started another stash pile in anticipation of placing my order.

I'm looking for non-coated for a special project for Genuine Draft. I got me a hippie chic () who likes tie-dye. Coated nylon or nylon that's been calendared will not accept dye. But, nylon that hasn't been subjected to those processes can be dyed with the help of a little heat. I've got visions of a hippie Blackbird for my #1 girl.
    Trust nobody!

That's a really cool idea, Cannibal! I'd never thought of that! And after you dye it, you could dunk it in a bucket of silicone slurry, and have an awesome custom camo tarp!

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.
