Another Sipsey trip - what a beautiful place. (Picture heavy)

    Guys,
I made another trip to the Sipsey wilderness on Friday/Saturday and what a beautiful trip it was. It was a very short trip but it's amazing what this 2 mile trail offered. I encountered 6 water falls, two of which were major falls the other 4 were trickle falls but none the less beautiful. To see this much in such a short distance is what makes the Sipsey so special.
Here's the first small fall I came across.

A few feet later was one of the trickle falls.

Then this beauty was at the end of the box canyon.

I climbed around the ledges a bit and grabbed a couple of pics.

I crossed the small creek and came across two more water falls.

Your link requires a Google Docs login, which I have, but even then they are not available.

Load them on your hard drive and link through the tool bar.

I got up this morning and headed to the Kinlock area to check out those falls. This is a very large falls and although it looks like I'm close to the water I was about 30 feet up on a cliff.

Just up the road from Kinlock falls is the Kinlock shelter. This thing is huge and the images do not do it justice nor do they show the size.

Some beautiful pics of the shelter.

All in all it was another beautiful weekend in the Sipsey.

Wow, I think I've fixed this. Had to split the post in two separate threads. Sorry for the earlier mess.

Your pics and youtube links are working great now. Except the last group of pic in post #5. They show as broken.

Thanks you very much for sharing. Many many thanks, I can think of no better way to spend my time this morning while having coffee. Actually, I can think of one way - being there.

Which trail did you do? I'm going back out there today to just get away. Going to do the 201, 209 and 202 loop and explore a little bit.
