+1 on the bluegrass if I'm cycling on the C&O Canal. There's something otherworldly about riding a tree lined path when the leaves are changing while Alison and Rhonda serenade me.
While backpacking I never bring music, but I do bring that sweet amber liquid from Kentucky.

I enjoy bourbon, coffee or hot chocolate.
I absolutely love Tears for Fears. Been on an FJM kick lately, too. But I'd say some Sufjan or Chris Bathgate with a good rye. Nice and chill. Or Thrice and mewithoutYou. Could go either way.

Yup...the question wasn't what you listen to in your hammock, it asked what music embodies the mood that a perfect lay gives you.

For me, it would be a perfect margarita and this (the second movement of Vaughn Williams' London Symphony).

    Capercallie

Capercallie. I have about 90% of their music, including their newer music. Here's a fav but their Four Stone Walls was my introduction.

    Susan's Gone

And I enjoyed William's Lento, perfect for evening's end.

Another goodie, the whole CD's wonderful.
