Best fabric for against the skin feel

What is a good fabric for against the skin feel? I have a few projects in mind. Would like it to be 1.1 oz ripstop fabric. Thanks!

That's highly subjective, and it would help to know what the projects are. I would have different answers for hammocks vs quilts. Also, if you're set on 1.1 ripstop you're kind of making the choice already.

For hammocks, I think HyperD 1.6 has the best skin feel of any of the fabrics I've tried. 1.1 poly ripstop is the worst (slick, plastic-y). Robic 1.0 is somewhere in the middle. I sleep well in all of them.

For quilts, MEMBRANE10 or MEMBRANE15 are my favorites, they almost have a silky feel. In terms of a quilt, I think that they are superior to ripstops, such as HyperD 1.0, against the skin.

I haven't made any apparel yet, so couldn't say there.

Oops, I guess I should have mentioned the project. Looking at making a pillow (synthetic) and hammock.

I think that HyperD 1.6 is a great all-around hammock material with a great feel, but I'm guessing that you're looking for something lighter if you're looking at 1.1's. I just made a Robic 1.0 hammock that I like, but there have been some concerns about durability and RSBTR has said that they're coming out with an updated version of that fabric relatively soon. If I were buying something today, I'd try Hexon 1.0 from Dutch, which I haven't used yet.

For a pillow, I'd go for MEMBRANE or Argon, at least on one side. I might do half MEMBRANE/Argon and half lightweight fleece for a summer/winter pillow. Got that idea from kitsap.
