I actually totes signed up for this the first day I joined the forum. I'm super nervous about it since I'm pretty out of shape and not a great hiker (2 miles wears me out pretty hard), I've been fretting over the restroom situation at the first camp too, but having the boat to save me is what's keeping me from backing out.

Hey, duders! I'm an avid camper and recently started collecting gear to move from tent to hammock camping (and maybe even backpacking).

Here's my n00b setup:

• Bear Butt Zapper Bug Net
• Bear Butt Kodiak Straps
• Bear Butt Double Hammie
• Cocoon Sleeping Bag Hood Pillow
• Snug Pack Jungle Blanket
• Twisted Root Flare Underquilt
• Tyvek ground cloth

I just nabbed one of the EVRGRN crash sacks from REI's clearance sale for super cheap. Seems convenient for hammocking.

Hoping to learn a little about DIY hammock stuff and find some sweet camping areas. <3

LOL, yep I Know that kind of movement. West Texas, Army to MD, back to College Station, then back to MD (cause if wife ain't happy, ain't nobody happy).
