    Hi from the UK

Been lurking for a while so thought I should pop in and say hello.

I've been hanging from trees for about six years now and found this place whilst searching for underquilt inspiration. I've been using the Snugpak UB for a couple of years but I'm looking to lighten my load by going down the down route.

Just purchased one of unsponsoreds 3/4 UQ which is a really nice bit of kit, tempted to have a go myself once I work out what is involved with getting the down ratio right for winter camping.

I'm a mad keen bushcrafter and canoeist and spend many weekends exploring Scottish lochs and forests as well as the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.

Looking forward to having some banter with you guys.

Welcome to HF. Sounds like you've got a good start into hammocking already, but this is a great place to learn tweaking of it. I spent 12.5 years in the UK, and a lot of time in Leeds while instructing skydiving not far from there.

Welcome out of lurkerdom! Looking forward to new perspectives from the other side of the pond.

    Welcome, Shewie!

Ever hike the TGO Challenge? I've wondered if that area of Scotland was suitable for hammocking.

    Welcome to the group.

Side question, out of curiosity how is the bicycling in your area and in Scotland?
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?
