Has anyone requested a 3/4 length ambush be custom made? I have a full length ambush 20f and i like it but wanted to see about a 40f 3/4 length to shed some weight in the warmer parts of the year. I emailed them but don't expect a response until they get power and internet back. I figured someone out there may have already had this done. I already thought about the 3/4 lynx but don't like the lack of color options.
Somewhere in the forums there's an off hand comment from the company about it suggesting they'd do it. This was several years ago and I didn't find anyone taking then up on it later. If you find out I'd like a pricing quote.
I contacted them about one very recently. They were accommodating and priced one for me. Haven't purchased yet.

Normally we'd be able to just shorten an UQ but due to the design of the WBRR and the AMBUSH UQ it would take several prototypes to get the shaping correct. We are focused on a few other project before we'll get time in our schedule to address a 7/8 and 3/4 AMBUSH."
Looks like it is back to the drawing board. Maybe a DIY project in my near future.
Odd, I'd say a partial uq would be easier because of less curvature being accounted for.
