Hello,
I often like to hang along cliff edges, where views are great, but where it can be dangerous to enter/exit the hammock on the cliff's side.
I am therefore looking for a winter hammock (i.e. with a zippered winter cover) that would give me the ability to enter/exit and see the scenery on both sides. Until now I found only Dutch's chameleon, and the Dream Hammocks ones that would meet that requirement. Are there any other brands ?
Do you know which one would be more convenient in that respect (enjoying the widest possible view on both sides in a comfortable position) or are they all equivalent ?
Is it better to choose a symmetrical one for that purpose (to avoid the 'wall' effect on one side) ? Would it then be less comfortable than an asym ?
At the moment, I have both Warbonnets BBXLC and RR. Whereas the BBXLC is definitely not designed with that purpose in mind, the RR is great for awsome 180° views and it can be suplemented with the double opening spindrift as a winter cover. I am looking for the same aptitudes in a gathered end. Do you think I have to give up some comfort for a better view, or is it possible to have both ?
Thanks.
