    Greetings from Dallas

    Hello all!

    I am new to the forums and just wanted to introduce myself. I currently live in Dallas and have been into backpacking and hammock camping a little over a year. I originally got into this because I wanted to get out of the house and away from the TV. It has turned into a awesome adventure. I have to say my favorite part is just the solitude and quiet when I am out in the woods. It is a great way to recharge the batteries!

    My gear list has evolved over the past year and I know will continue to evolve as I fine tune everything. My summer gear list is currently about 13 pounds.

    I hope to learn a lot from you guys and hopefully share my adventure stories!
