Fur as under insulation?

Update, I tried the fur last night. It got down to just under 40 degrees last night, and I had a fan blowing at me (yeah, didn't get far from the house LOL), and with the sheepskins laid inside the hammock to lay on, and using the green patrol bag from the MSS as a top quilt, I was warm and cozy all night. I used three decently sized furs, just to cover more area to account for twisting when getting in. I could easily get it down to two for head to toe, and if I want to cover just the torso, I could go to one.

My wife bought a couple as floor coverings. When she brought them home and saw the look in my eyes I was immediately banned from bringing them camping.
