    EVA/Evazote closed cell foam pads

Looking for something like the Gossamer Gear 1/8" or 1/4" hammock sleeping pads but cheaper, maybe direct out of China. Anyone using something like this EVA yoga pad or this aluminized eva pad? Both are 0.6cm (1/4") thick

Ordering rolls of foam directly from a supplier (who got it via China, of course), like mentioned in this thread, also looks like a good option, but with shipping added starts to get quite a bit more expensive if I'm not splitting the cost several ways.

Another very cheap and ultralight option is the $3 car windshield sun shade from Wally world. I got the cheapest, thinnest one they had, and it actually worked quite well until I decided to get an underquilt. The reflectix really keeps the heat from escaping your underside. The only real issue I had with pads is it's hard to keep them in place. It's a bit easier if you have a double layer hammock though.

The aluminized pad looks like it would be a good " sacrificial" material source. I went ahead and dropped one on my Ali Baba WishList.
At $10 you could get several sit pads that would work under your feet. 60 cm is a little narrow though for a sleep pad.

Something else you could considerIs this "Hotel Sleep Bag". These are what the Chinese use during that long travel. When they go home over the holidays.
One of the sleep pads would slipped right inside, and you wouldn't have to sleep on the foam itself.

If you buy from any of the Chinese manufacturers through places like Ali Baba right now, you should be aware of that their current shipping is far slower than estimated... I am seeing averages of 45 to 60 days.
I would expect a bulky item like these pads to go much longer than their guess, and paid shipping out of Hong Kong is very expensive.

1/8 or 3/16 might be more comfortable than 1/4---not sure
I'd go with Gossamer Gear about 40x72 and only trim or cut as needed
You won't slip off pad 40 inches wide.
    Might be bulky for backpacking.
    Good luck!

I notice my link above is to a 50cm wide 1/4" pad, here is an aluminized 60cm wide 1/4" version I found

Additionally these 7oz 78"x39" reflectix-ish pads appear to be very popular, anyone use something like this before? Any issues with noise or condensation?

I sometimes use an Exped MultiMat which is about 40"x80"x1/8" ( 1mx2mx3mm) and I think it kind of the ideal size for a lot of things, including used as a mat in a hammock. The small size of the looks pretty good to me for a comfortable solo mat.
Note that if you sleep right on it, it will probably get kind of clammy since no pasture passes through it.
