Can you explain how the triangles that hide the zippers are made!?

    Sure...

I roll-hemmed the base and stitched the remaining raw edges of each hood into the last few inches of each long edge, immediately in from the end channels. Once installed, I joined the ends of each long hem together (immediately inboard of the sew end channels) with a secure bar tack, with the point of the zipper hood neatly pleated and sandwiched in between. (Option: You can snug up the hoods with some elastic or shock cord stitched into the roll-hem at the base of each hood.)

kitsapcowboy, awesome job on the hammock! I'm about to attempt to make one of these too and think I have most of it figured out, but is there any way you could show more detail on how you did the zipper on the hammock? It looks like the hammock fabric covers the zipper tape on the inside and outside, how'd you manage that?

Thanks. Yes, the hammock body fabric does cover both sides of the zipper tape, using the same triple-stitch method used for the bug net/top cover. The zipper is secured to the "wrong" side of the fabric on the first pass of stitches. Then the zipper tape is rotated 360 degrees to capture the raw edge of the fabric and cover the opposite side of the zipper tape, and the second pass is made. Finally, the zipper is rotated 180 degrees back in the opposite direction and secured in its final correct orientation with the third pass of stitches. This is what Dutch does on his Chameleon, and it can get a little tricky to do neatly and securely the first time you try it, so take your time if you do. There are other simpler ways to attach a zipper to a hammock body that still offer a neat finish, so this method isn't your only option.
