I hope to show up Friday afternoon with my famous 7-layer bars (if I don't eat them all on the way down)!
Sooo excited!

Formerly known as Acercanto, my trail name is MacGuyver to some, and Pucker Factor to others.

I'm bringing Red Label for those who do and a pound of coffee for those who don't.
Man, I was really looking forward to meeting Shug, the world famous videographer! Sorry to hear you can't make it, Shug!

I will be bringing dogs and rolls as it appears our numbers are increasing and no-one can have just one dog!

The venison bacon was very popular for cooking over the fire during the evening at last year's Mt Rogers hang. I will bring a good supply of it this year, along with a toasting basket.
It goes great with MacEntyre's fresh bread!

Darby and I will be there with our usual supply of brats and buns. We may hike in a day or two early, depending on the weather. The Grayson Highlands weather site posted a low of -13 degrees and a wind chill of -36 degrees last night , so come prepared http://weather.graysonfriends.org/
My son and I are really thinking about coming, however, I have a few questions.
How far is the campsite from the car?
How is the trail/terrain to and from the car, so I can carry a big cooler?
Does it really get that cold?
Depending on the distance, terrain, weather, my son and I should attend, and probably be able to bring a nice stew, or chili.
