    A walk on the AT

    it's not really a trip report...but i took a walk today so i tried out my Stickpic
    and the leki poles i got off Mac

    Dang it ... for some reason YouTube on the iPhone want load it. Others yeah but not this one. Have to try it later on the PC.

    Great Video, convinced me to buy a stic pick. Also nice to put a face to the name, hopeing to get to meet ya at the NJ hang and we can compare our stormcrow's.

    thanks everyone...my goal is Rodgers...
    i'm only going to the NJ hang if my back does not calm down...either or i think will be fun

    Hawk my Ipod does that as well sometimes

    HAVE NO IDEA ... why the video says "could not load video" on the iPhone ... but did get to see it on my PC ... Fun to see whose behind these avatars!

    Looks like a steep section of slipper trail with no protection from the wind! Hope that back heals up on you so that you can make that hang. Wish I could.

    thanks everyone ...yeah it's a great view of the area from where i recorded the video..but it's one hell of a hike to the top...

    Nice video. Unless I miss my guess it looks like you are on the north side of 61. I knew when I walked down that hill a couple of months ago ,that i was going to be in for a real treat and I was right because the hill on the south side of 61 and the river just past the train tracks is a real treat.

    yes i was lol ...when i hike the AT i come in on the Hawk Mnt side...but i figured i would go down to Port Clinton and walk in that way..it's been awhile since i did that part...i forgot about the hills lol

    it's only 10 min down 61 from my house
    It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
