I've been using bank line but was curious if it has too much stretch being nylon? I've yet to try anything else and I really want to find a hi vis cordage for my new tarp. Curious what you guys are using.

Lots of folks use Zing it/Lash it....same stuff just different name based on color. Comes in Grey (lash it) or red or yellow for Zing it. But there are other options as well.
This article I wrote a while back covers many of the types and uses of common hammock ropes and webbings. http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/w...e-dope-on-rope

I've started using Dutch's Reflect-it. It's a mash-up of zing it and Lawson glowire. It has the reflective tracers but is a spliceable line like zing it. It is a bit softer with a bit less memory than zing it though.

I've used Zing-It and I've also used planer board line (hollow braid polyester dacron line). The planer board line can be found at most well stocked fishing supply places and costs a few cents per foot. The planer board line I have is high vis orange.

I started with para cord until I found out how much water they can retain. Then went zing it which is fine. I saw on this forum someone using
Dyneema 300# braided fishing line, along with these little toggles

And this combo has worked for me. Super crazy light, I now leave the cordage on the stake, along with the little toggle and can quickly set up and take down, no more fighting cordage left on tarp.
I still use zing it to secure tarp to trees- I don't use a ridge line.
And even if you saw it yourself, you wouldn't believe it

1.75 mm Lash-it (12') on Dutchware Stingerz for non-continuous ridgeline
1.5 mm Z-line from ZPacks for my tie-outs ( 4-8')

I use reflect_it on my CRL and tie outs. Helps me to not get cloths lined, or trip over my guy lines. I trip over my own feet enough.

Zing-it 1.75 mm - hi vis enough for me. I just don't want reflective cordage.

Just got some reflect it from Dutch. Going to use it. Had used paracord and zing it before.
Lash it for the ridgeline.
