I've been making stuff for a year now. The stitching is getting better but cutting the fabric square is my only problem.

I cut my fabric using a 24x36" cutting mat, rotary cutter, a metal yardstick, and a small (2") Irwin Handy Clamp like this one: https://www.amazon.com/IRWIN-QUICK-G...y%2Bclamp&th=1

I get much straighter cuts this way.
