I would love some down, but synthetics resist humidity and dirt better.
I'm not the most concious person when I'm setting up/packing up so having the possibility to wash it without losing (too much) insulation or needing a protector for backsplash from rain

well, you are talking about pertex endurance fabric which is bombproof by the way ...
