Nice, cant wait
I'm going to try and make this my first group hang if it's close enough. I'm not familiar with PA's state parks, is this the same as Pine Grove Furnace in the Michaux Forest?
Thanks, I'm putting a place holder in my calendar.

I would like to come...first time. Is there an email list I can get on for MAHHA? Or do I just keep checking the forum?

Done. Thanks!
This will be my first group hang and was wondering what to expect...besides hanging in a hammock that is
...games, food, drinks, do people bring there wares to sell? Thanks
At the risk of being overtly corny, you should expect fun! There are two group meals at breakfast and dinner on Saturday, which are mostly pot-luck affairs (link to a sign-up sheet will be provided closer to the event). You’re technically on your own for the other meals, but a few folks have been known to prepare various delicacies to share amongst their neighbors.
There’s no sales allowed at the hang, but several vendors will likely be in attendance, so you'll have an opportunity to check out new/upcoming gear straight from the source. The folks from RSBTR were generously giving away fabric remnants this Spring, which was a nice surprise. There’s a raffle Saturday evening of gear donated by vendors and attendees, the proceeds of which cover the cost of catering and reserving the campground for the weekend.
Other than that, walk around, make some new friends, check out their gear. Go on a day hike. Bring a favorite game if you have one. Feel free to ask lots of questions. There will probably be a couple classes offered at some point. Plan on spending the majority of your time laughing around a campfire.

I wasn't able to make the spring hang so I'll def be putting this on my calendar now to make sure I'm free. Thanks Dutch!
