    Options from REI?

We are coming up on REI dividend time again. I need to get another top and bottom quilt. Is there anything in the REI universe that could be pressed into service here? It would be used on a HH Expedition. I would love another set from the Jacks but I don't think they work with REI.

Therm-a-Rest makes a "blanket" that would work for a topquilt. Don't know how it would work as an underquilt?

Currently REI carries nothing in the way of an underquilt. Keep your eyes open for the ENO Ember. It make show up online sometime this year.

I guess if you could get some loops tied on the corners you could hang it like a bottom quilt. Anyone use one before in any capacity?

I've seen the Ember in my local Blue Ridge Mountain Sports store. The thing weighs like 2.36 tons, plus or minus a few ounces.

It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

Formerly known as Acercanto, my trail name is MacGuyver to some, and Pucker Factor to others.

I usually get boots, food items, kitchen type stuff or socks with the dividend. You can't go wrong with socks. Or maps of new places to go.

Here's another Therm-a-Rest Blanket that's a fair bit lighter, worth looking at.

I recently finished testing the Kelty Galactic 35 bag. It's rectangular and would make a great UQ and/or top quilt. I sewed some channels in it so I could so something like this. I also used it as a pull-up bag (until I got my "real" UQ/TQ combo).
