    cloudland canyon state park recommendations

I'm wanting to do a day hike this fall to cloudland canyon state park but never been there. I live about 2 hours away and if you were going to go there for your first time for a day hike which trail would you do for the best views?

West rim loop trail will have nice views. The water fall are great but only if you like stairs. Getting to the first one is not bad but the second will work you.

If you do the waterfall trail bring twice a much water as you normally would, extra snacks, a battery powered defibrillator, and a camera. It's an great trail with old growth trees to see along the way. It is an arduous trip down to the falls and back up again. If you have time, do both the west rim and falls trails. Definitely worth it!
