    Thinking About Purchasing a Chameleon

    Hey Hangers,

I am looking to purchase a Chameleon from Dutch and was wondering when they will be available to purchase? Or if there was a way I could pre-order? Love the design of this hammock and I think it will work great since my wife usually hangs with me (will eventually get her one as well)

Also is there an updated list of fabric colors I could look at?

And I weigh between 235-240 so can I get away with the hexon 1.0 fabric or should I play it safe and go with the 1.6? I am leaning towards the 1.0 and plan on losing a few extra pounds anyways.

    Thanks,

    Hillbilly

The Chameleon should be available on the site around the middle of next month. We do not have any pre-orders currently. Please keep an eye here, on our website, and/or our social media for updates.

We have added a couple new colors and all of that info will be added to the website when the Chameleon is released.

At that weight i would recommend the Hexon 1.6 just to be safe.

I decided to sell my warbonnet a few months ago and made my own hammock which hangs great but isn't comfortable for me since I didn't take my time on it and measure everything out. So I am looking to purchase a new hammock and I can't think of a better hammock than the chameleon from Dutch.

Can't wait till they are available!

Not to derail your thread, but I figured this was a good place to ask. I am also interested in getting a chameleon once they are available. I am bigger at 300 lbs. Would 1.6 work for me or do I need to step up to 2.4? I am looking to lighten my pack from my dual layer wbbb and the 1.6 sounds really appealing.

No worries buddy. I had a dual layer warbonnet BB and I made a switch because of the same reason. Too bulky and heavy. But it was definitely super comfortable. Now I just have to wait for the chameleon to be available lol
