Wearing/Stretching on the sewn channel for loop on ENO Sub7

I've got about fifty hours of hang time in my sub7, and I'm getting a bit concerned about the sewn channel for the continuous loop. No stitches have broken and there are no holes, but maybe my paranoid eye thinks it looks a little suspect. Has anyone else had problems with this?

I'm using a 7/64 amsteel loop, not the one ENO provides.

Ill post pictures when I can. It's not bad. I just don't want to find out that my concern was valid in mid-fall right before some pain.

Well, this is how it ended up: sub7 eno 001.jpg

I guess I am now sure that such fraying isn't normal

ENO is sending a new one.

Thankfully, it started as a slow rip and I was awake so I didn't fall.

It looks like the fabric itself failed... The tear seems to have started well below the stitching.

Glad you were able to get out before it failed completely. I have found ENO's service to be very good with my concerns in the past few months. Good to hear they are sending a new one, definitely looks like fabric fail and not stitching issue.
