VIDEO: Camping at Tuckahoe State Park

Took my DIY hammock out on it's maiden voyage this weekend. It worked great!

We still have the girls together in a small tent, which unfortunately became a big problem on the last night when it rained cats and dogs. The gravel tent pad flooded and became a pool of water. We ended up evacuating the girls at 10:30 over to the cabin across the street that was vacant. Girls were so disoriented and confused about what was going on as we carried them over. If they had been in hammocks they would have been dry. I think it's time to upgrade them so this doesn't happen, again. Otherwise the weekend was fantastic.

Looks like it was a fun trip minus the rain storm. Congrats on the DIY gear working out.
