    New Hammock Specs

I was wondering/hoping that the JRB guys and Warbonnet would post the specs for their new offerings. How about guys?
    Peace,

From what I remember the JRB hammock was in prototype form. It is not the final production model. It weighed in at 2 lbs 2oz.
Is that too much to ask? Girls with frikkin' lasers on their heads?

I think it would weigh about the same as a normal hammock if it was made out of 1.9 untreated.

I would love to hear details from them about it. Weight, load limits, size, etc. Bboth current and expected.

There are several changes planned for the JRB that will alter the weight - I'm thinking it will end up in the 1.75 to 2 pound range. I'm thinking it will weigh more than a standard 1.9 hammock because of the suspension system (1.5" webbing and spreader bars)

I'd be interested in the specs for the Warbonnet. Warbonnetguy, let us know when your website is up and I'll start sending people your way. I know two people who are considering buying hammocks within the next month or so and another who is seriously considering becoming a hanger.

It more than handled my 220+ self, I think it would handle a lot more. I am 6'4" and on my back I was fine, on my stomach my toes would touch the foot end. Felt great though. On my extended list of gear.

Smee showed me a way to use the trekking pole instead of the spreader bar to save a little weight.
