    'bout time I introduced myself

I'm in SW Ohio but mostly camp in WV and PA. I don't hike, yet, but I camp just about every weekend from April to October. Tired of ground and soupy mud. I'm about 5 hours into hammock camping now that my Switchback arrived today! First real hammock. I'll be getting lines, tarps and such from the other members here. What a treat to not have to go to a big box store for crap that won't last. The Switchback looks awesome even in the bag!

    Welcome aboard!

We will pick you up on our way down 33 toward the Mt Rogers trip!

Are you going? It would be a great opportunity to dive into the hammock world and meet some great people.

Welcome to the forum and to a new way to camp. Happy hanging. Be sure to take a look at the thread on the Hoosier hang.
