Yes, if you have the cinch buckle system, remove strap, slide buckle towards hammock, attach CL to the stands supplied Biner.

Here is what i used last hang

I use 15" CL's from Dutch with my Chameleon and other 11' hammocks. Feet & head are the same height but its still a good lay.

For me my primary use would be car camping and not having trees available, this is not that unusual. Here hammock camping is still a fringe activity enjoyed by a fairly small minority - I've been to a motorcycle rally with around a thousand people and been the only one sleeping in a hammock. Unfortunately this stand would not be practical for motorcycle camping, which is a shame, but when I'm in the car I'd be happy to take one of these with me.

Looking at that picture it is clear that this stand would work perfectly anywhere that a tent would work. That would make it fine for any campground in this country. For gear storage I would use the car, I just need somewhere comfortable to sleep and I'm certainly not going to lie on the ground like an animal!

That looks great! I wish I went with the prefab stand to begin with instead of the kit. The black looks nice and everything just seems more solid.

The photos on Dutchware site show gray/unfinished poles. I assume these are just older photos and the stand comes with a black finish?

I got one back in December and it is solid black. I think they are all black now.
