    Trip Report: First Hang

    Howdy folks!

Made a little video of a trip I just took with a buddy, wanted to test out my new hammock rig.

It went quite well, night time temp was 36 degrees, I was nice and toasty, I would have been warmer I think if I didn't have like 60 something ounces of beer in my belly when I went to bed but its all good!

Some of my freight hopping adventures on film over at my YouTube Channel... Oh and there is other stuff there as well!

Very nice video. Good balance of show and tell, scenic shots , music, yah. There's so much comes out of the east coast and south that when something comes out of the PNW i feel like , Ah "a home boy". Had to laugh about the "twelve yr old Therm-a-rest maybe being one of the first. I bought the one i have now in the mid seventies . Still works too.

Nice video. How did that footbox you sewed into the Eno work for keeping your quilt where it belongs?

Ha! I had no idea Therm-a-rest was that old, this one I have is really good! I use to lay on it under my old car when doing repairs and still not one hole.

Good vid and a nice job on the diy stuff. Also, an demonstration of how-to strike a fire with the steel. **folks take notice** move or pull the steel away from the tinder, DO NOT move the knife or striker**
