    Rawah Wilderness- Colorado

At the delicate age of 53, I finally obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing (wished I would have done it 30 years ago). I don't know that I've really learned anything new that 30 years of critical care and flight nursing hasn't already taught me. Oh well, I guess I'm official now. Yay! No more school taking up all of my free time! Time to enjoy life again. Here is my celebratory trip.

Wow I've never hiked the Rawah in Spring during runoff that is a lot of very cold water. Keeg'stumble into the stream, up stream of a fallen tree, could have been very bad.
For about 5 years back in the 80's I spend every Thanksgiving holiday fly fishing the lakes and feeder streams. Some of my best fishing memories are on those lakes.
Good report bummer the sound was not working when you were vlogging.
Thanks so much for the trip report. I've lived in Colorado 37 years and never get tired of trip reports out here.

Beautiful scenery. When did you take this trip? I also had trouble hearing a lot of what you said but that could be my setup here.

Just got back the day before yesterday. Nah, your equipment is fine. I filmed that with my IPhone, the mic is kind of terrible and I'm kind of a soft-spoken guy. I'll try and speak up in the future, or maybe purchase a mic in the future. Or get a dedicated backpacking camera. Your never 'really' done buying backpacking equipment are you? You think your there, then you see something that keeps you spending money.

Keegan takes after his dad, he learns everything the 'hard way'. Yes, thankfully he didn't impale hisself on a branch, or hit a rock wrong.
I have a killer work schedule right now, so I hope to spend a lot of time in the mountains this summer and fall. Hopefully that equates to more trip reports.

Jealous! I'm missing Colorado right now as it's going to be 109 here in Phoenix today. Good to still see a lot of snow up there.
